About me! I’m Kim.
I love, love taking photographs. It’s my passion. Photography started out as a hobby for me but I have enjoyed it so much that I decided make it my job. I remember the moment that made me decide to purchase my first DSLR camera. I was at Arlington Racetrack at the finish line and realized how remarkable it would be to capture the moment of that winning horse.
What I love about photography is being able to capture moments, personality and “freezing time”. A mother with her newborn, when the groom first sees his bride, that horse winning the race–these are all moments that need to be remembered. When you look back, photographs are all you have.
What else about me? I am a wife and mother to my children in the Chicago suburbs. I have a background as an on-camera talent–which is why I adore shooting actors and commercial models. I also can sew and attempt all kinds of DIY projects. Going through different life experiences myself has given me insight on what is important in getting that special photograph .
